Since its launch at the height of the pandemic in 2021, No Rolls Barred has built a highly engaged community of board game enthusiasts who tune in every week to see our cast play, review and explain the best games on the planet. From humble beginnings the channel is now at the heart of the board game niche, with hundreds of thousands of weekly views on YouTube, and almost 8,000 members of the community as paid Patreon subscribers – placing it inside the top 40 Patreons in the world for YouTube-based brands, and in the top 120 of all Patreons. As its popularity has soared, No Rolls Barred has been able to collaborate with high profile figures who are passionate about board games, including BBC Radio 1 DJ Matt Edmonson, ‘The Traitors’ reality TV show contestant Ivan Brett, and a range of YouTube influencers.
NRB events are also wildly popular at the UK Games Expo and other board gaming events, and our Kickstarter campaigns for projects such as our video series playing ‘Blood On The Clocktower’ has raised six-figure sums on both occasions that it has run so far. It is clear that No Rolls Barred has quickly become a major player in the board game space, and we are very proud of the inclusive community that we have built.
